La Élégante
Photo and video production and social media for a beauty and skincare studio, built to make clinical care look calm rather than cold.

La Élégante does facials, skincare treatments and nail work. Beauty content in this category usually swings between medical stock and heavy retouch. Our job was to sit in between, show the treatment as it actually happens, and make the calm of the room the thing people remember.
Art Direction
We lit everything soft and close, warm on skin, with deep shadow around it. A treatment room is a quiet place, so we shot it quiet instead of flooding it with the bright white the category defaults to.

We kept the gloves, the tools and the steam in shot rather than hiding them. A client is trusting someone with their face, so showing the hands and the process reads as care and competence, not as a stock photo of relaxation.
Facials, nails and skincare all share the same soft palette and the same wordmark placement, top corner, small, always present. One light and one mark means the feed reads as a single studio even as the services change.

Creative Process
Before shooting we went through the service list and picked the moments worth showing, the mask application, the steam, the finished nail. Choosing the moments in advance meant we could work around a live treatment without interrupting it.
From each session we cut a run of posts, stories and short films covering the full service list. New treatments drop into the same light and framing rules, so the studio keeps posting without the feed losing its calm.
